Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Our school is small, with an intake of 20 pupils in the Foundation Stage, offering a nurturing and personalised start to your child’s educational journey. This small class size provides numerous benefits, ensuring every child receives individual attention and support during these early years.

In our EYFS, we create a secure, play-based and integrated environment where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn. We believe in fostering happy, independent learners who flourish at their own pace, building on their unique starting points. Through a carefully planned, broad and balanced curriculum, children have the opportunity to explore, create and discover in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Our curriculum supports the development of the whole child, encouraging growth in personal, social, emotional, spiritual, physical, creative and intellectual areas. These experiences lay strong foundations for future learning, preparing children to transition confidently into Key Stage 1 and beyond.
